SolidWorks User Group Network

If you’ve ever struggled with learning a new software, then you know how vital it is to have the appropriate resources supporting your development. Having these resources is essential to new and adept users alike for advancing your skills. User groups are one example of such a resource. At Perception Engineering, we primarily use the SolidWorks software for our CAD modeling needs. This software is rich with features and tools to help you tackle almost any task at hand. This means it can take years to master the use of the software, and even then, it’s likely you still have more to learn. Enter SolidWorks User Group Network (SWUGN).

As a user of the SolidWorks User Group Network, you gain access to technical summits, virtual user group meetings, and networking opportunities. Attending user group meetings allows you to go to learning sessions on various topics throughout the evening. Some past topics have been machine design, SolidWorks Simulation, configurations, design tables, and many more. Before, in-between, and after sessions is a great time to connect with other SolidWorks users from your area, whether it be to work together to overcome issues you have been running into, learn of and connect with other local businesses, or just talk about your love of SolidWorks, the connections you develop can be invaluable. Did I mention that attending usually means free food, refreshments, and giveaways?  These groups can be found around the world. To find the nearest location to you, click on the link provided below. From personal experience, I highly recommend attending!
